My name is Omri Mizrahi, born in 1985 Carmiel, BFA graduate at Bezalel Academy of Art and design, today im living  in Maale Tzvia, Israel.

When I paint I try to point the moments that have lost human attention.                          I choose figurative images in photographs, screen shots and dally life that have a sense of human loneliness. Prolonged staying in front of those images, allows me to study and understand them better. Other moments can appear more abstract, like a tree that shed its bark, a warm which dug her way through an old wrench, a heavy textured stone…

these moments figurative and abstract have become my source for inspiration.                I take "frozen" images, translate theirs appearance of loneliness and "melting" it into layers of pastel pencils, charcoal, pigments and oil colors.
